Who I Help

I work with individuals ages 16 and older and relationships & couples (including polycules) in Chicago, IL (and other areas of Illinois if virtual). Over the years, I have worked with people from a wide range of ethnic, racial, religious, cultural, economic, educational, sexual, and gender identity/experience backgrounds. Regardless of your life experiences and background, you are welcome in my practice.

My training has equipped me to help patients transcend and achieve relief from a wide range of difficulties. Common difficulties I work with include but are not limited to:​

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma/PTSD

  • Interpersonal and relationship difficulties

  • Grief and difficulties with loss

  • Self-esteem concerns

  • Major life transitions

  • Anger difficulties

  • Parenting challenges

  • Substance use difficulties

  • Sexual difficulties, including infidelity

  • Suicidality and self-harm

  • Challenges involving attention and executive functioning

  • Obsessive-compulsive symptoms

  • Perfectionism and self-doubt

  • Challenges related to identity (sexuality, gender, professional, religious, cultural, familial, etc.)

  • Personality difficulties

  • Career and school difficulties (e.g., burnout)

  • Existential concerns and dissatisfaction and disconnection in life

  • Psychosomatic symptoms (e.g., chronic pain, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome)​​
